Half Time Bets

It’s my favourite market at the moment and this weekend I am betting on the following to be leading at HT:

Brighton v Leeds, HOME @ 7/2, VC Bet
Plymouth v Norwich, HOME @ 5/2, Spodds
Bournemouth v Rotheram, AWAY @ 15/4, Spodds
MK Dons v Yeovil, AWAY @ 5/2, Spodds
NAC Breda v Roda JC, AWAY @ 14/5, Spodds

Brighton have been leading in last 3 at home, admittedly not against anybody of the calibre of Leeds. But Leeds have been trailing in 3 of 6 and have scored only 2 first half goals away from home all season.

Norwich have suffered more first half defeats away from home this season than anyone bar Hull. Plymouth have lead in 2 of their last 4 at home and look great value at 5/2 to do the same tomorrow.

Rotheram have lead in 4 out of last 7 away from home. This may have slipped by the bookies as they are third from bottom and only managed to win one of those 7 games. Bournemouth mirror this record, they have lost 4 from last 7 first halves. 15/4 on the away side looks cracking value to me.

MKDons, behind in 4/5 recent home matches; Yeovil leading in their last 3. I have to take 5/2 on the away side.

And in the Netherlands, NAC have a poor record at home with only 1 win in their last 7, but they have played some tough teams in that run. Roda have been leading their last 2 at HT. They are a decent side and could capatalise on NAC’s low confidence. The odds look generous on the away side to be leading at the break.
