Quiet week. Not much midweek league action as the Champions League returns.

Newcastle entertain Charlton in the Premiership tonight, but no advised bets for that game. The Toon to be leading at HT and to score 1st goal seem decent enough value at 13/8 (BetFred) and 8/11 (Coral) respectively. This is mainly due to Charlton's dire recent away form (after winning their first 5 away this season, they have since lost 6/7. In that run they have conceded 18 goals, trailed at HT 6x, conceded 1st goal in all 7). If you do fancy taking either of those I would wait to hear Newcastle team news. Shearer and Dyer are doubts at the time of writing.

Meanwhile I have added Belgium's Juliper Ligue to my database today, so expect to see some Belgian picks some time in the future...
