Bournemouth v Yeovil, Yeovil to win 1st half, 3/1 with Spodds
Yeovil haven’t conceded a fh goal in their last 6 away games and have led in 5 of their last 7 away games at HT. Bournemouth have failed to score in 6 out their last 8 at home and have trailed in half of those games, including their last 2, at home to Barnsley and Bradford. Have to be happy to get 3/1 from Sporting Odds on Yeovil here.
Sociedad v Barcelona, Sociedad to score 1st goal, 5/2 with Totesport
Sociedad’s form at the Estadio Anoeta is pretty poor: only 2 wins in the last 7 there. However, only Espanyol have stopped Sociedad from opening the scoring in that time. Barcelona have stuttered a little recently away, in their last 3 games both Valencia and Osasuna have opened the scoring. I just think the odds that Tote are offering here are very generous, especially with the likes of Sporting Odds going as low as 7/4.
Villarreal v Atletico Madrid, Atletico to win 1st half, 14/5 with Bet365 and Spodds
Villareal finished 3rd last season and this was largely due to their very strong home form. This season they have not been as solid at all and even if they win all remaining 6 home games this season, they will not match last seasons home tally of 46 points. They have trailed at HT 4 times in their last 7 home matches and now they must entertain one of the form teams in La Liga at present. Atletico have lead in 3 of their last 4 away from home at the break (the 4th being a loss at Real Madrid last time out). Odds of nearly 3/1 here look excellent value.
