The odd game tonight in England and one bet that looks tempting in League One is Nottingham Forest to be leading at HT away to Brentford. Brentford are one of a very competitive top 5 in the division who will be aiming to be in one of the automatic promotion spots come the end of the season. Forest are 10th and will consider at least a play-off place to be well within their reach. Brentford’s home form has been distinctly average lately however with only 2 wins from last 7. They can be vulnerable in the first 45 – they have been trailing 6 times at home at the break this season, 4 times in the last 6. Forest however don’t appear to have the form to be able to take advantage, with only 1 away win all season. More relevant to this bet is that they have been leading at the break only once in their last 8 away and in fact have managed only 1 first half goal in those games. The best odds available on Forest to be leading at the break at the time of writing are 10/3 with Spodds but I cannot take this bet without a little more generosity from the bookies.
So interesting odds, but NO BET.
A full Serie A program tomorrow night, any recommendations will posted tomorrow.
