NAC Breda v RBC Roosendaal, RBC to win 1st half, 5/1 with Bet365 and Sporting Odds
NAC Breda v RBC Roosendaal, RBC to win match, 6/1 with Sporting Odds
These bets seem a little hard to justify when you consider that RBC have only 1 point from 12 away matches this season and that they suffered a 6-0 thrasing at Ajax last time out. But it is NAC’s home form that convinces me of the value in these odds. 3 losses in their last 5, and behind at the break in 4 of those games. Last season RBC had a similarly dismal away record at this point of the season and somehow managed to win 3 of their last 5 away, including a 2-1 win at NAC.
Exeter v Southport, Southport to win match, 5/1 with BetFred
Same sort of reasoning for this bet. Exeter have lost 5 of their last 7 at home. Admittedly they have played some top teams in that run, while Southport (rock bottom) are, well, not. However, they have been no push over since the start of the year. On the road, they have conceded only 1 goal in their last 4, have only lost once and even managed a win at promotion hopefuls Stevenage. The odds offered just look too big and I recommend that they are taken.
Milan v Empoli, most goals in the 1st half, 21/10 with Sporting Odds and Bet365
4 of Milan’s last 5 home games have had most goals before the break. Exactly the same stats for Empoli. Over 2/1 on this happening again has to be taken.
Fulham v Arsenal, Fulham to win match, 23/10 with VC Bet
What can I say that I haven’t said before about Arsenal’s away record? 8 defeats now in 14 games. And here they visit Fulham, who have 8 wins from their last 9 at home.
Real Madrid v Atletico Madrid, Atletico to win 1st half, 9/2 with BlueSq
Atletico come into the Madrid derby as the form team in Spain. Real come into it in turmoil following the shock resignation of president Florentino Perez. Atletico’s away form, leading at HT in 5 of their last 7, is great. Real haven’t conceded a fh goal in their last 4 at home, but the odds are still too good to resist on the away side taking advantage.
