Weekend 10/11 Review

I am sitting with my green tea and Digestives reflecting on a frustrating weekend that was spoilt by in-play meddling and saved from loss by Wigan.

Always happy to show a profit (£3,36), but if I had kept my hands in my pockets and let all my bets run I would have been £7,50 to the good instead. I traded on the Reading match as it sounded like Villa were really pushing for an equaliser and dominating the game. I was aware of their away scoring record as well. Traded the Toon game at HT as were getting mullered by Liverpool in the first half and I thought 1-1 really was flattering to us. I couldn't see us winning and the commentator on TV kept saying that Liverpool hadn't lost for something like 58 games after having taked the lead and hadn't conceded 2 goals in a match since November, so I thought it best to reduce my liabilty there. I have yet to save any money through trading so far (lost £6,04).

So, so far my selections have been good, but I really should be showing more profit. Feel I will be punished soon when I hit a bad run and the buffer is not as big as it should be.

A quiet few days ahead now as next Prem match is not until 21st Feb. Unless I get my old tennis spreadsheets updated and take a dip back into ATP waters...
