New season days away, but won't be betting on the opening weekend, probably not at all until some sort of form appears. Normally I wait until each side has 2 or 3 home and away fixtures under their belts.
However, time permitting, I will try to do some write-ups based on historical data.
Aston Villa v Liverpool
Villa have not managed a win in 6 previous seasons (0-0, 0-2, 1-1, 0-0, 0-1, 1-2). It's been 5 seasons since the fixture went over 2.5 goals.
